Phoenix Goodyear (GYR) Airport Taxiway A Intersection Improvements

CRE provided construction plans, an Engineer’s report and specifications for the replacement, widening, and realignment of existing Taxiways A4, A5 & A6, and A7 required to meet Group IV category aircraft operations. The design for the new connectors included taxiway centerline lighting, required airfield signage and modifications to the existing runway and taxiway lighting configurations at the new intersections. New runway edge lights were installed as part of the modifications. Existing airfield signage panels were upgraded for the numbering of the intersections. Conduit infrastructure was provided for future RGLs at the new intersections. A new airfield lighting ductbank system was designed to replace the existing. Services included design and construction administration.
